Afternoon of Irish tea and music played by Isabelle Gosselin well known violinist from the Richmond area. Isabelle Gosselin As an author, actor, storyteller and violinist, over the past few years, Isabelle Gosselin has performed shows of her own creation: Mon oncle Bébé, Bro and Sister and for a younger audience: J’étais là bien avant vous!, a lively tribute to the St. Francis River. Le Trapèze, her very first play for adults was staged at the Théâtre du Double Signe in Sherbrooke and the artist created and produced 13 plays for youth, namely in schools. Isabelle Gosselin has been playing the violin since she was 4 years old. Following years of private lessons, she pursued her musical education at McGill University in Montréal and received a bachelor’s degree in violin performance. As music is always part of her life, the artist also composes the musical works that are interspersed throughout her shows and that she performs on the violin. In 2018, Isabelle was awarded a grant from the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (broadcast of the Mon oncle Bébé show) and she was a finalist for the Excellence du Conseil de la Culture de l’Estrie award, for her body of work as an artist.
